Totally agree with tapping it out between washes... that's the trick I learned with my Dyson where you can actually get a surprising amount of loose dust out just by banging it on the garbage can rim. The thing is, the foam really does start to degrade if you get it fully wet too often, like the glue holding the layers together just gives up. I switched to only fully washing my filters every 6 weeks or so and just doing the tap out routine in between, and the last filter lasted me over two years before I finally replaced it.

Bought one of those fancy infrared toaster ovens. $80 down the drain. Burned the outside of my bagel, raw inside every time. Tried different settings, different racks. Even watched YouTube videos. Ended up throwing it in the garage. Now I just use my regular toaster from 2015. Works perfect. Some gadgets are just scams.

The_adam totally nailed it. I spent a whole night last week cranking up the colors on Orion and felt guilty too. Got over it quick though. Our eyeballs are useless in the dark anyway.

Tried baking powder on wings three times and they came out tasting like chalk.
