inAppreciation post: The day every hard drive failure was actually recoverable
Hey man when was the last time you had a streak that good? I've had days like that where everything just lines up. Had a client drop off a laptop that took a swim in a pool last summer. Pulled the drive, let it dry out for a week, and it booted right up like nothing happened. Another one had a NAS that was clicking like crazy, but it turned out some dust was stuck in the fan making noise not the drive itself. It's wild how sometimes the stuff you think is toast just works out.

inSwapped out my old claw hammer for a framing hammer last month
Man, I totally used to be a light hammer guy. I thought anything over 16oz was just going to wear me out faster, you know? But then I borrowed a buddy's 22oz for a fence repair and I felt the weight just do the work for me. It's funny how a little extra heft actually saves your arm because you don't have to muscle every swing. Changed my whole thinking on framing jobs.

inWarning: that new clipper oil I bought made my trimmers sound like a dying lawnmower
Man I feel you on this completely. I grabbed a bottle of that same SuperSheen stuff thinking it was the good stuff and my clippers sounded like a dying lawnmower on the first cut too. Had to spend a whole evening soaking everything in alcohol to get that thick mess out of the blade.

inHit 500 foils in one day last week and my hands still hurt
I wonder if you'd get less hand pain by swapping to a different brand of foil that's softer or pre-cut, that's what a few of my coworkers did when their fingers started locking up. Maybe it's not your speed, just the physical toll of 500 of anything in one day.
