I skipped labeling on a 32 zone panel last month and lost half a day ringing out wires with a tone probe. Now I write zone numbers right on the jacket about 6 inches back from the strip, takes 2 seconds per wire and saves the next guy a headache. Anyone else got a labeling trick that holds up when the wire gets dusty?
