Why does nobody talk about tire pressure checks after a ramp incident at DFW
A tug clipped a nose gear tire on the ramp at DFW two weeks back and the tire blew out right next to me while I was doing a walk around. Turns out it was sitting at 110 psi when it should have been closer to 200, nobody had checked it in who knows how long. Now I check tire pressure on every single walk around even when dispatch is breathing down my neck. Anyone else had a close call like that or am I just being paranoid?
