A barista in Austin told me to stop buying dark roast and it fixed my French press
I spent 5 months blaming my grind size for bitter coffee until she asked what roast I was using and said the beans were probably already roasted past the point of no return, so I switched to a medium roast from a local place on South Congress and the same press finally tasted like something I actually want to drink.
