The condiment thing hits way too close to home. I once found three jars of pickles in my fridge, all opened, all with one pickle missing from each. My brain just kept buying them thinking they were empty but nope. Now I keep a sticky note on the fridge door that says "you already have pickles, idiot" and it actually helps.
