Pro tip: skip the buffet on the first sea day, the main dining room lunch is the move
Just got off a 7 day Caribbean run on a ship out of Miami and I tried something different this time. Usually I hit the buffet the second I board because I'm starving, but the line was insane so I walked down one deck to the main dining room instead. Sat down, got a real hot lunch in about 15 minutes, no elbows or tray juggling. Did the same thing on the first sea day and it was even better, maybe 20 people in the whole room while the buffet was a zoo. Same food quality or better, and I actually got to relax before the pool crowd showed up. Does anyone else have a go to quiet spot for embarkation day, or am I late to this?
