inI used to post my digital art at max resolution until a pro called me out
Funny how that works with everything now, not just art. Like I've noticed people post full res photos of their concert tickets or boarding passes and you just know someone's gonna screenshot and use that barcode. We live in a world where you gotta think about the lowest common denominator of who's gonna rip you off.

inI finally gave up on my old corded miter saw after trying a friend's battery powered one
Next you'll tell me I don't need to carry a gas can to refuel my truck.

inHit 100 faucet repairs this weekend and it got me thinking
Wait, you kept track of that too? I started counting my light switch and outlet swaps a couple years ago (thought it'd be funny to see how many I did before I got shocked) and I'm at like 45 now, but I never thought to tally up something like faucets. That's wild though, 100 is a lot of O-rings and cursing under the sink. I did three bathroom faucets last month alone for family members, all different brands with different stupid little clips and tools you need just for that one model. Makes me wonder how many times I've accidentally left a drip or two behind after all that work, you know?

inGot chewed out by an old timer for using a zip tie on a ground wire
Man that old timer was absolutely right... I did the same thing on a service upgrade a few years back and a master electrician caught me. He explained it can create a little transformer loop if the ground and neutral share a zip tie tight against each other, especially with high draws like a dryer or AC unit. I switched to plastic standoffs or just a separate screw clamp on the panel wall after that. It's one of those details that probably never causes a fire in residential but can create weird hum or interference on sensitive electronics... better safe than sorry.

inNever knew bread flour had that much protein difference
Totally blew my mind when I tried my grandma's bread recipe and it came out way denser with modern flour.
