Can we talk about how long it takes to get solar panels actually working?
I finally decided to put solar panels on my house in Buffalo back in March. Got a quote, picked a company, and they said installation would take about two days. Well, two days turned into four weeks of waiting for permits from the city. Then the electric company had to come out and swap my meter, which took another three weeks just to schedule. After the panels were up, the inverter threw an error code that took the installer two visits to fix. From start to finish, it was almost three months before I actually saw any power coming in. And I still don't have the monitoring app working right, the company keeps saying they'll send someone. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of delay with residential solar?

I mean it's solar panels not a liver transplant lol. Three months sounds annoying but it's not like the grid went down while you waited.

The same people who say that are the ones who lose their minds when their DoorDash order is 10 minutes late. Wait times for everything are just longer now and nobody wants to admit it.
