The line about eating canned black beans for years hit home because same, I always figured soaking was too much work to bother with. Then my roommate did a pot of dried chickpeas and I watched her get like six cans out of one bag and I just sat there feeling dumb. Haven't fully switched over yet but I'm getting there lol.
