I was at the farmers market in Asheville last weekend and saw a guy selling fermented hot sauce with blueberries in it. I always thought fruit in hot sauce was a weird idea, but I tried a sample and it was amazing.

Oh totally, that sugar thing is real. I made a mango habanero sauce last year and the fruit made the heat hit way different. It comes on sweet and smooth, then the burn kind of builds in the back of your throat instead of punching you right away. Letting it ferment for a full week really blended the flavors too, so it wasn't just spicy fruit juice. The blueberry idea sounds amazing for that same effect.

My first real program crashed and I had no idea why for two days

Actually, that single equals thing is way overblown. Modern IDEs catch it instantly with red squiggles, so you'd have to ignore obvious warnings to even run broken code. The real issue is people not paying attention to their tools, not some tiny typo. Honestly, if a single character breaks your whole program, maybe the problem is writing code that's too fragile in the first place. It's a basic mistake you make once and then never again.

My big mistake trying to map a site with just a phone camera

My friend runs a vintage Etsy shop and her sales doubled when she switched from phone pics to a basic DSLR. You start seeing the tiny cracks in pottery, the real color of old fabric, the way light hits a carved wood detail. It's like your eyes finally get the right tool to do their job. Now I notice how many online listings are just bad photos hiding good stuff, or good photos hiding flaws. Makes you question everything you see on a screen.

Seeing robots in the news now makes me think of old sci-fi movies

Wait what, a delivery bot couldn't cross the curb? That's the thing they can't figure out. Saw one last week too, just beeping at a driveway. They show the towel thing but can't handle a basic sidewalk. My Roomba eats charger cables for fun.
