inA customer in Denver told me I was the first sweep who didn't try to sell him a new liner
Man, that's rough but I'm not surprised. My old shop had a quota system for liner sales that made everyone push them. It felt gross telling people they needed something when they didn't. Good on you for just giving the straight facts. That's how you build real trust.

inI just finished my 500th driveway and I'm not celebrating
A 40 foot pour in Phoenix heat sounds like a special kind of grind. That feeling after a big number is real, and it's not always good. Drew805's buddy with the thousandth roof proves you're not alone. It's like the milestone just shines a light on the routine. The pride gets buried under all that repetition, and all you're left with is the tired.

inChecked out a post hole digger from our library last weekend and it turned into a full-on archaeological dig in my backyard.
Wasn't there a story a while back about a guy finding a whole Civil War camp just by digging fence posts? That stuff is wild. It's crazy how much history is literally right under our feet. You start a simple project and suddenly you're sifting through layers of time. Makes you wonder what people will find in OUR backyards a hundred years from now. Hope you found something cool and not just old pipes.

inI thought those 'tree growth regulators' were just a gimmick for fancy lawns
Oh man, Cambistat! That brings back memories. My uncle used it on an old oak in his yard and swore it made the leaves darker for a whole season. Honestly, I got so deep into reading about growth regulators last year that I almost bought a bottle just to try it on my maple.

inCan we talk about a load chart call-out I got in Fort Worth?
Man, same here. I've seen guys skip straight to the main chart and miss the jib extension note completely. Always pull the full spec sheet, not just the big picture. That fine print has stopped me from overloading a crane more than once.
