I thought those 'tree growth regulators' were just a gimmick for fancy lawns
Used them on a row of silver maples in a cramped Charlotte parking lot, and after one season the vertical growth was cut by 60% while the canopy filled out. Anyone have a go-to brand for mature oaks?

Heard a guy on a landscaping podcast swear by Cambistat for big trees. Did you look into that one at all?

Oh man, Cambistat! That brings back memories. My uncle used it on an old oak in his yard and swore it made the leaves darker for a whole season. Honestly, I got so deep into reading about growth regulators last year that I almost bought a bottle just to try it on my maple.
