I just finished my 500th driveway and I'm not celebrating
Everyone talks about hitting big numbers like it's a win, but honestly it just hit me how much of the same thing I've done. This last one was a 40 foot pour in Phoenix and I felt zero pride, just tired. Does anyone else get that weird feeling after a milestone instead of being pumped?

A 40 foot pour in Phoenix heat sounds like a special kind of grind. That feeling after a big number is real, and it's not always good. Drew805's buddy with the thousandth roof proves you're not alone. It's like the milestone just shines a light on the routine. The pride gets buried under all that repetition, and all you're left with is the tired.
