inWhy does nobody talk about the right way to clean a clogged sink drain?
That baking soda and vinegar trick is mostly for light maintenance, not a real clog. The fizz looks cool but it doesn't actually break up the gunk. For a truly blocked sink, you need to get the physical stuff out. A simple plunger made for sinks often works way better than people think, you just have to seal it over the drain properly. If that fails, a drain snake is the real answer, it pulls the hair and grease right out. Pouring chemicals down there just risks hurting your pipes and makes a nasty soup.

inI finally listened to a client in Denver who said my clean-up method was leaving a mess on her patio.
My buddy learned the hard way after a client pointed out his "quick sweep" just moved the dust around.

inAppreciation post: That one stubborn core print on the big gearbox job
That steel rod trick is solid. I had a core try to float last year and a couple rods through the print into the drag was the fix. It held everything down just right.
