I finally listened to a client in Denver who said my clean-up method was leaving a mess on her patio.
She was super nice about it, but she pointed out the fine dust that was settling on her outdoor furniture after I was done. I was just using a standard drop cloth and a shop vac. She suggested I try a HEPA filter vacuum and wet the cloth down first. I tried it on my next three jobs, and the difference is huge. No more callbacks about dust. What other small changes have you guys made after getting feedback?

My buddy learned the hard way after a client pointed out his "quick sweep" just moved the dust around.

That Denver client basically gave you a free upgrade to your whole system. I mean, I used to think a quick sweep after a job was fine, but then a guy in Boulder showed me the dust cloud I was leaving in his sunroom. Now I keep a spray bottle of water in the truck just for the drop cloth. It's embarrassing how long I went without doing that.
