inPro tip: check your safety wire pliers before you start a job
@carr.daniel I feel your pain, I once grabbed what I thought was my good pair of wire cutters and they just crunched instead of cutting. Made me look like I was trying to wrestle the wire into submission.

inPeople keep using console.log for debugging in React and it's making their code messy
Honestly just start using React DevTools more, it saved me from the same nightmare. I had a coworker who would dump 20 console logs into every file and it made debugging impossible. I made a rule for myself: if I need more than 3 console logs, I open DevTools and inspect the component directly. It shows you the state tree in real time without polluting the code. Tbh once I got used to that workflow, I barely touch console.log anymore unless its for quick one-off checks. Ngl it takes a bit of practice but the difference is huge once you get it.

inOverheard a client say my blowout lasted her 4 days and I almost cried
Four days? That's insane honestly. I've been doing my own hair at home for years and I've never gotten a blowout to last more than maybe 48 hours before it starts looking flat and greasy. She must have some serious skill or that ceramic barrel magic is real. I can't even imagine waking up on day three and still having volume without having to immediately break out the dry shampoo. It's cool that she figured out the whole tension control thing from a class too, that's a level of detail most people would never notice.

inOld cabinet maker told me to use a card scraper instead of sandpaper for flush edges
Yeah "skate and leave you frustrated" is exactly what I'm dealing with. Are you burnishing the edge to a mirror finish or just until it feels sharp? Cause I've been hitting it with a strop til it shines, but still getting chatter on end grain. How much of a burr are you actually looking for before you start cutting?

inCompared two impact drivers side by side on a deck job last Saturday and the old brushed one just could not keep up.
Used to think any drill was fine. But @kaiharris is totally right about brushless being a game changer once you try it.
