Showerthought: I used to think my chain was fine until it snapped on the Burke-Gilman Trail last month.

A shop guy told me to check for stretch every 300 miles with a $10 gauge, and mine was totally worn out. Anyone have a favorite brand for that tool, or is a ruler just as good?

Just lost $200 on a coworking space that was nothing like the photos

Booked a month in a Chiang Mai spot that looked amazing online, but the wifi was so bad I couldn't even join a video call. The 'fast fiber' they advertised was basically dial-up speed. Ended up having to buy a local SIM and work from cafes, which cost even more. Anyone know a good way to check real internet speeds before you book a place?

Update on that 'self-leveling' filler everyone was hyping

Used it on a quarter panel repair in January and the surface was orange peel city after 90 days. I think the shop temp dropping below 65 at night caused it to cure weird. Anyone else have a product fail after a specific season change?

Just read that the first print run of Gloomhaven was only 5000 copies

I was looking up some old Kickstarter numbers and saw that on a BGG forum post. It blew my mind because now it's such a huge game. How did something that small get so big?

Got into the groove of refreshing the dust bath area every few days

Noticed a big drop in mites and the chickens are much more content. A little effort goes a long way.

Had an owner ask me to cover up a bad hoof before a horse went to auction

I refused the job since, from what I've seen, hiding a serious issue like that hurts everyone involved in the long run.
