inRented a pressure washer vs bought one for my deck job
Read that Consumer Reports article last year that tested electric pressure washers against gas ones and they found even the cheap electrics could handle 5-6 full deck jobs before the motor started acting up. For $90 that's basically costing you $15 per use if you do it that many times, while renting a gas one runs $50-$70 a day around here. Plus you don't have to haul a heavy machine around or deal with gas and oil.

inHit 500 foils in one day last week and my hands still hurt
One of my friends hit 600 foils in a day and her hands cramped so bad she had to take three days off. She switched to pre-cut foils and dropped down to 400 a day max. Said her hands stopped locking up completely after that.

inTried drying my brushes with the bristles facing up and finally got why that's a bad idea
Actually tried that exact method on a few older brushes and it worked pretty well. Used a toothpick to clean out the old glue residue inside the ferrule, then let them sit by the radiator overnight to make sure they were completely dry. Found that the superglue trick worked best on the synthetic brushes, but with natural bristles I had to be more careful not to get any on the hairs themselves. The key for me was using just a tiny pinprick of glue and then working the ferrule back and forth to spread it evenly before it set.

Huh @cora_jenkins, isn't letting kids explore unmarked trails good for them?
