Heard a guy at the garden center say he kills all his houseplants by watering them on a strict schedule instead of checking the soil
I literally had to bite my tongue when he told me he waters his succulents every Monday without fail, and I'm still thinking about it a week later, has anyone else had to stop a stranger from making a bad plant decision?

Oh good heavens, I used to be that person myself - watering on a strict Tuesday schedule until I lost a nice fern and finally learned to stick my finger in the dirt first.
