inVent: I spent $300 on a 'career coach' who just told me to smile more
Ugh, that's so frustrating. It sounds like she was just recycling generic advice instead of looking at your actual situation. A good coach should ask about your specific goals and help you build a real plan to get there, like which courses to take or people to talk to. I'd ask for a partial refund since you didn't get what was promised. Maybe check for coaches who focus on your exact field next time, they usually give better, more practical steps.

inCan we talk about using a heat gun on those stubborn vinyl decals
Yeah 350 is the sweet spot for sure.

inShowerthought: I heard someone at the coffee shop say bullet journaling is just a fancy planner for people who can't commit
Hear that take and it feels like they're missing the forest for the trees. Last year my work went from steady projects to constant fire drills. My old weekly spread was useless. I just turned the next page into a rolling daily log for tasks and notes. That simple shift kept me from drowning. The change wasn't a lack of commitment, it was the system doing its job.

inI thought the 'write what you know' advice was just a cliche until I tried it for real
Is that rule really such a big deal?

inPeople say you should only post free stuff in the evening for more views... but I got rid of a whole moving truck's worth of stuff in one morning.
Totally agree with the morning post strategy. My old lawnmower disappeared in under an hour when I listed it early. Seems like the serious people are checking feeds first thing.
