Free couch pickup went sideways yesterday
Guy said it was in great shape. Got there and the thing was moldy underneath. Still had to haul it out of his basement because I already drove 20 minutes.

That "great shape" line gets me every time. Always flip the couch over before you leave their place, even if you have to ask them to help you tilt it. Saves you from hauling moldy junk and wasting gas.

Ha, yep. @betty_stone2 nailed it, flipping it first is the only way to go. Learned that lesson myself after hauling a "like new" recliner that reeked of cat pee. Saves you the backache and the regret every time.
