inMy uncle told me to always use a 1/4 inch roundover on oak edges.
It's wild how often that happens. You see it with cars, clothes, all sorts of stuff where the "nice" version ends up looking kinda tacky. Makes you wonder who decides what looks expensive anyway.

inVent: I spent $80 on a board game insert that turned out to be a total waste
That's the worst feeling. Sleeved cards are a total dealbreaker for most inserts. Honestly, baggies and a couple small plastic boxes are way faster.

inMy comic book collecting used to be a mess of long boxes in the basement.
Months? The pile on your desk lives there for months? That's not a pile, that's a new piece of furniture. You've got a modern issues end table. I admire the commitment to the chaos, honestly. The peace of mind thing is real, but so is the dread of facing a backlog that's basically a small town.

inQuestion about the torque spec on a common bottom bracket
Torque specs are just a suggestion for people who don't own a proper wrench. That left cup absolutely needs more muscle to stay put and not creak. A little extra is cheap insurance against a loose bottom bracket.
