Update: Finally got my first solo commercial job signed off in Phoenix
It was a small office retrofit with a new hybrid system, and the fire marshal gave it a clean pass this morning. Anyone else find the first one on your own is the biggest hurdle?

My buddy Mark did his first solo job last year, a two-story dental clinic in Tempe. He said he checked the smoke damper wiring about ten times before the inspector showed up. That first green tag felt like winning the Super Bowl to him.

Yeah, that "first green tag" feeling is what my old foreman always talked about.
