Vent: My new $120 sleeping pad popped on its first night out
I bought a Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite last month for a trip to the Adirondacks. It was super comfy for about six hours, then I woke up on the cold ground. Found a tiny puncture near the valve, no idea from what. In my experience, the repair kit that came with it didn't hold under pressure once I got home. I learned that high R-value doesn't mean much if it's not durable. Has anyone else had this happen with an air pad, and is there a tougher brand you'd recommend?
