Shoutout to the person who told me to watch 'Odd Taxi'

I kept seeing people talk about it on here but the animal designs put me off. Finally gave it a shot after three episodes of something else fell flat. The writing is seriously sharp, and the mystery actually pays off. The dialogue in episode 4, where the walrus talks about his past, completely hooked me. What's another show that looks weird but has a story that's totally worth it?

What specific part of the walrus's backstory got you hooked?

Honestly it was the part about him losing his old tusks and growing new ones. That whole cycle of losing something you think defines you, only to find a new version, hits different. You see it everywhere, like when people have to change careers or start over in some way. Makes the walrus feel less like a cartoon and more like a weird, blubbery metaphor for getting through tough changes lol.
