inSaw a crew in Dallas last week not checking their load chart for wind
Honestly those load charts can be overkill sometimes. A stiff breeze isn't a hurricane, and experienced operators get a feel for the conditions. Maybe they checked it earlier and knew the rig could handle it, so stopping to look at paper just slows the whole job down. Constantly second-guessing the crew with radio calls isn't helpful either. They probably had it under control.

inThat week in October when our school district's new online library platform crashed for three days straight was a total disaster.
Yeah, the "printed copies" thing is so real... I learned that the hard way when my printer jammed right before a big meeting. Now I always print at least three copies a day or two early. That way if one gets coffee spilled on it or the dog chews it, you're still covered. It seems like overkill until you really need it.

inShowerthought: I just learned how many chimney fires happen in the spring.
My neighbor is a volunteer firefighter. He told me last week they had three chimney calls in two days, all from folks trying to get one last cozy fire in before the weather turned. Said the creosote buildup from a whole winter of burning just needs one hot, long fire to ignite. It really stuck with me. I cleaned my own chimney way later than I should have this year.

inBefore air fryers, my mom's fried potatoes were the best. Now, the recipes just don't measure up.
Consider that air fryers cook differently, @lucas206, so recipes might need adjusting.
