Before air fryers, my mom's fried potatoes were the best. Now, the recipes just don't measure up.

Consider that air fryers cook differently, @lucas206, so recipes might need adjusting.

Hold up, are you serious? Your mom's fried potatoes used to be the best but air fryers messed that up? My grandma always used a cast iron skillet and the crust was unbeatable. I can't imagine an air fryer beating that old-school method, let alone making new recipes worse.
