Man, oiled threads change everything, no wonder half these engines are wrong.

My buddy grabbed one of those last year for the same reason, his dogs going nuts while he worked from home. The noise part worked fine, but he figured out later his old mic was the real problem, it was cheap and picked up everything in the room. Most of these headsets have decent mics on top of the noise stuff, so you're probably getting both fixed at once.

Man, I gotta say lighter fluid sketches me out for shutters. Seen too many blades come back gummed up a month later once the oil dries and grabs dust. I stick with naphtha and a tiny drop of graphite on the pivot pins if they're really stiff. That first 1/1000th pop is a rush though, won't argue that part.
