A guy at AutoZone in Reno told me to skip the fuel filter, and I can't decide if he's right
He said on my 2011 Civic it's a tank job so just run a bottle of Techron every 3,000 miles instead, and honestly a $9 bottle sounds better than dropping the back seat. But the manual wants it at 60k and I'm at 140k, so do I trust the parts guy or the engineers?

Trust the engineers, not the parts guy. Techron is a cleaner, not a replacement, and a clogged filter at 140k won't fix itself.
