If you're still using the same clipper blade for every fade you're just making life harder on yourself

You ever see a buddy try to pull a bald fade with a blade that's been sitting in a drawer for 8 months? My guy Mike showed up at my apartment last month with a Wahl blade so crusty it looked like it had been used to scrape paint. He's doing a skin fade on his cousin and the blade is skipping so bad it's leaving little patches of hair everywhere. He had to go back over the same spot like 4 times just to get it clean. Took him 45 minutes for what should have been a 20 minute cut and the guy's head was all red and irritated. I told him just buy a new blade for 15 bucks but he said they're fine. Wild.

Showerthought: Why do we still use weight belts in 2025?

Yeah man, you nailed it. The belt thing is straight up outdated tech that people just got used to. I had a similar scare last summer where my belt rode up and I couldnt reach the quick release. Switched to a harness with integrated weight pouches and never looked back. The weight sits way better on your hips and doesnt shift when youre moving around on the bottom.

Shoutout to the drywall patch I botched in my kitchen last Tuesday

Damn, did you at least get the kid to help clean it up?

Honestly, my buddy's constant password reuse has me baffled by basic security rules.

Yeah wait @angelap56 your dad wrote passwords on sticky notes? That's wild. I mean I get old habits but sticky notes on a monitor is basically inviting hackers in. Password managers are so simple though, took me 5 minutes to set up one for my whole family. Once they got used to autofill they never looked back. People just need to try it once and they'll see.

Hot take: truing a wheel with the spokes still on the bike actually works fine

Whole lot of things in life are like that. People love turning simple jobs into some big production when good enough gets the job done just fine.
