Had to pick between a $40 chain tool and a $15 multi-tool with a built-in one for my gravel bike. Went cheap and snapped the pin.

Ugh, this is the story of my life. You try to save a few bucks up front, then end up paying double to fix the mess. It's why my garage is full of half-broken tools.
