I hit 333 on my car's odometer right as I passed the third exit for my hometown
I was driving back from the grocery store yesterday, just watching the numbers tick over. My odometer rolled to exactly 333 miles as I passed the third exit sign for the town I grew up in, which I haven't lived in for years. It felt way too specific to be a normal coincidence, like the universe was pointing something out. I know people say these are just random number patterns, but it really got to me in the moment. Has anyone else had a string of numbers line up with a physical location like that?

Okay but have you ever thought about the fact that your car's computer and the highway department don't talk to each other? That's what gets me. Two totally separate systems, one counting your distance and the other marking a place, just happened to sync up for you to see. It's not like a clock where you can watch for 11:11. This was a one-time alignment of a moving number and a fixed point only you saw. That's way weirder than just seeing a number pattern.

Nah, it's not that weird when you think about it. Your odometer is always running and mile markers are everywhere, so the odds of them lining up are actually pretty high. It only feels special because you happened to look at that exact second, but someone else probably saw 123456 at mile marker 123 yesterday. It's just random chance, not some crazy cosmic sync.
