The "cheap one won for once" part is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, because a beam wrench has exactly one moving part and zero electronics to lie to you. A digital torque wrench is basically a phone that you occasionally use to tighten bolts, and phones break, drift, and need $200 sensors replaced. You spent $60 and got a tool that will still work when the power grid dies and a Snap-on rep is still three weeks out on a repair. Maybe it's just me, but the fancy stuff adds failure points instead of removing them. The only real downside is you have to actually bend down and watch the pointer instead of waiting for a beep. Small price to pay for a bolt that's actually tight.

Disagree with the whole premise honestly. A blank wall in a waiting room is basically the last peaceful thing left in the world, no offense. Everywhere else is screaming at you with ads and posters, so maybe that empty space is doing more than any art could.
