Shoutout to the free online stats course I was using, it just disappeared

I was on chapter four of their probability section when it vanished. @ruby494 is right about Khan Academy, their stuff is always solid and it won't just disappear on you. I had to switch over to their videos and practice problems last year when another free textbook site went down. It's honestly less flashy than some platforms, but it gets the job done and the explanations are clear. That's the real problem with these free resources, you can't trust them to stick around.

Showerthought: I was ready to replace a whole deck board after my miter saw blade chipped the edge.

Honestly saw a woodworking video that mentioned scoring with a knife first. Tbh it's one of those old-school tricks that just works. Saved my plywood project last month too.

Moving/Storage: Any experience with Jake Containers?

Good to know! I was actually just looking for a temporary storage solution for my business inventory overflow. Sounds like they are worth calling.

Our neighborhood's carpool story and what it did for our wallets

Have you guys factored in the extra maintenance from putting more miles on the carpool vehicle? In my experience, saving on gas is great, but those shared miles can mean more frequent oil changes and brake repairs. Your mileage may vary, of course, but it's worth noting for the full cost picture. It's still a smart move for the wallet, just a different part of the budget to watch.

Seeing robots in the news now makes me think of old sci-fi movies

Why do we fall for the hype when they can't even handle a curb? Those demos are set up in perfect conditions, but real life has stairs and dog toys. They're just overpriced gadgets until they work in my messy house.
