Purple sounds kind of cool though. Is it really a problem if it still protects the metal?

Ugh that's such an easy mistake to make. I started using a simple ruler on screen to check the actual printed size before sending anything to print. It forces you to see the real dimensions instead of just how it looks on your big monitor. Made a huge difference for me because I was doing the same thing. Now I have a little checklist that includes minimum logo size before any project is finished.

Corner starts are the only way I can keep things straight. Tried starting in the middle once and the whole floor drifted almost an inch by the far wall. You're totally right about the skinny cuts though. I mark my starting plank with a big X in chalk and double check the gap at the opposite wall before I even mix the thinset. That last piece by the door is always a pain.
