Met a kid at the local shop who made me rethink my whole collection
I was in the back issue bins at Heroes Haven in Springfield, digging for some old Moon Knight stuff. This kid, maybe 12, was looking at my pull list on the counter and said, 'You have all the big ones, but do you read any of the weird small press books?' He showed me a copy of 'The Me You Love in the Dark' and said it was his favorite thing he'd read all year. I bought a copy on the spot, and it was amazing. Ever have a random chat at a shop totally change what you look for?
