Watched my grandma finally finish this huge cross stitch she'd been working on for years and she just folded it up and put it in a drawer. Feels like the whole fun part is the chase, not the finish line (and then you gotta find a new chase).

A $6 closed cell foam pad from Walmart has been my seat for three seasons now and it still looks new. My trick is cutting it down to about 14 inches so it fits in the back pocket of my pack, and it doubles as a knee pad when I need to filter water or dig a cathole. The chair thing gets you because you sit in it at camp and feel fancy, but then a strap or a leg gives out and you're stuck carrying dead weight. Quilts are the right call too, way better use of that money.

How did he prep the crack before the paint? Did he just wipe it with a dry rag or did he blow it out with air first? I ask because every hairline split I get fills up with grit and dust, and I can't see paint soaking in if there's junk still sitting in there. Also, was that latex paint straight out of the can or thinned down at all? I've got a crack running along my driveway apron right now that keeps spitting out patch every winter and I want to try this before the next freeze.
