Rant: I keep seeing beginners try to learn three languages at once...
I was helping my cousin last month, and he was trying to learn Python, JavaScript, and C++ all in the same week. He said he wanted to be 'versatile' fast. It was a total mess, and he got confused about basic things like loops in each one. I told him to just pick one, maybe Python, and stick with it for at least 3 months before adding another. It matters because you build a solid foundation instead of mixing up syntax. Has anyone else had to talk a friend down from trying to learn everything at the same time?
