Vent: I used to think you could just eyeball the torque on a head gasket job

Wait, only 37 miles, @iris_dixon91? That's brutal.

Serious question, did anyone else think you had to hold the shears at a 45 degree angle for every cut?

Isn't that just life, @grant.parker, where the best people know when to bend the rules?

Rant: Our library tried a 'first come, first served' tool policy and it was a disaster

Ugh, I totally disagree... our neighborhood tried a reservation system and it was worse. People just book tools way in advance and then forget to pick them up, so they sit idle anyway. At least with first come, first served, if you see it on the shelf you know you can take it home right then. The online system just adds another layer of hassle for people who aren't good with computers. It feels less fair, not more.

I finally hit 500 hours of total exposure time on my deep sky images.

My longest single project was 120 hours on the Veil Nebula. @jake_reed, what specific gear are you using that's causing the blurry Orion stack? I've found tracking issues usually set a hard limit before patience ever does.
