I used to think topping was sometimes okay until I read a study from the University of Florida showing it can increase decay risk by over 300%

Found that stat buried in an old ISA newsletter and it completely flipped my view on those hack jobs I used to justify for quick clearance.

Just realized after reading a thread here about drawer slides, I've been overcomplicating undermounts for way too long.

I saw someone mention they just use a 1/4 inch spacer block and a story stick for every cabinet, and it clicked that I've been measuring each one individually for like 10 years.

I was reading a book about the Grand Canyon and learned it took over 6 million years to form.

That's a lot longer than I thought, anyone know how they even figure out a number like that?

Man, I feel this. I spent half a day once looking for a specific carburetor gasket, hitting three different stores. Now I'd just search the part number and have five options in my cart in two minutes. It's way easier, but I'm pretty sure my small talk skills have completely rusted over from lack of practice, lol.

Vent: That job in Phoenix where the slab turned to dust in 90 minutes

That pour sounds about right for a Tuesday. I swear the foam on my coffee has been getting more aggressive every year. Feels like everything is just a little bit off lately.

Just hit 1000 brake bleeds on my own service log and it feels weird

Read an article in a trade mag last year about a tech in Portland who logged over 5,000. He said his bleed kit setup changed completely after the first thousand. Makes sense, you just get faster and mess less. That number of yours shows real time on the tools. Old Maguras will definitely teach you patience.
