I finally figured out why my bread always caves in

Tell me you were baking a sad little bread cave without telling me. That cold oven start is like asking your bread to get out of bed on a Monday morning, no coffee. Of course it's going to slump right back down. Preheating is the bare minimum of encouragement it needs. My old oven lied about its temperature so much I started checking it with a thermometer like a suspicious parent. Turns out it was a full 25 degrees off and everything made sense.

Pro tip: My friend said her bullet journal is just a 'fancy to-do list' and it made me realize I was missing the point of the reflection part.

Yeah my friend started doing that last year. She said writing down one small thing she learned each day, like how to fix her bike chain or a better way to chop onions, made her feel less like she was just spinning her wheels. It was just a few words in the corner of her weekly spread, but it changed how she saw her whole routine.

Can we talk about the difference between a cheap multi-tool and a proper set of hex wrenches?

My old multi-tool from a gas station got me through two whole years of college. It handled loose bottle cages and seat adjustments just fine. I feel like people overstate how often you actually face a truly stuck bolt on the roadside. Most quick fixes just need a basic hex key, not a full mechanic's set.

Pro tip: stop using the 'chosen one' prompt for fantasy stories

Nah, hugowells, that trope still has some life in it. It's a classic setup for a good underdog story. You just need a fresh twist to make it feel new again.

Just found out how much a horse's hoof grows in a year, and it's way more than I thought

That old textbook might be a bit off, idk. My farrier always said it's closer to an eighth of an inch a month, which is only an inch and a half a year. It really depends on the horse's diet and the time of year too. Maybe the quarter inch figure is a high-end example.
