But honestly @fiona_reed, isn't a gallery partly about showing potential too? Empty frames force you to imagine what COULD go there, which makes you think more about your own taste and space. It's like a bookstore having empty shelves to make you picture your own books there, it gets you involved instead of just looking. So maybe the gimmick wakes people up to think about buying art instead of just browsing, you know?

Saw something wild at a trailer park install in Florence, Kentucky last Tuesday

Did you snap any pictures of it? I swear, the stuff people try to pull at installs never stops surprising me. My best advice is to always bring a second set of eyes for delivery day, even if it's just your cousin for a few hours. I had a situation once where the customer tried to swap out a damaged unit from their own storage after we dropped it off, claiming it came that way. Cover your tail with photos from every angle before you leave the lot, and get a signature on the inspection form right then and there.
