Tried coworking at a library in Portland instead of a cafe

Was sick of dropping $6 on lattes just to use wifi for 3 hours, so I hit up the Multnomah County Library downtown. Turns out they have free private study rooms you can book for 2 hours at a time with way better speeds than most coffee shops. Only downside is they kick you out exactly when time's up no exceptions. Anyone else found hidden cheap workspaces in their city?

Those private rooms are actually free for 2 hours if you don't need the wifi.

Oh, I always figured those were for paying customers only. That's good to know, might have to start using them for a quiet lunch break.
