Just realized co-working spaces aren't for me after trying one for 3 weeks

I've been working from coffee shops and my van for 2 years, but last month I got a trial pass at WeWork in Austin. Thought it would be all networking and free coffee, but man, the noise was worse than a coffee shop somehow. People taking calls right next to me, constant chatty vibes. I went back to using my van with a mobile hotspot after 3 days. Saved myself $299 a month. Does anyone else just prefer working from their car or a quiet library instead of those trendy spaces?

Tried a coworking space once in Denver and the guy next to me was eating an entire rotisserie chicken with his hands at 10am. lmao. Just parked my car at a trailhead after that and used my hotspot, way less weird smells involved.

My friend tried one of those spots in Portland and a guy was recording a podcast next to her while she was trying to focus on emails. @elliot_king eating a rotisserie chicken is way worse though, that's wild.
