Used to think power stretchers were overrated for small rooms, now I get it
I always hand-kicked carpet in bedrooms under 12x12. Took me 20 extra minutes per room to get wrinkles out. Last week a homeowner in Austin pointed out a ripple near the door and I had to redo the whole job. Borrowed a buddy's power stretcher for the next 150 square foot room and it took me 10 minutes flat with zero callbacks. Has anyone else held out on buying one and then felt dumb after trying it?

Hand kicking works fine until it doesnt. That ripple near the door is the classic sign you need the power stretcher. Once I switched I started using it on every room no matter the size. The extra 5 minutes to set it up saves you from having to pull the whole room again later.

Man that ripple by the door is basically the carpet yelling for help.
