Tried that new pressure washer service on Memorial Drive and it was a mess
I used to think any mobile pressure washer was fine for my rental properties. Then I hired Clean Sweep Atlanta for $250 and they left streaks all over the siding and didn't even hit the gutters. Called back Precision Wash who I usually use and they fixed it for an extra $100 but the difference in detail was night and day. Anyone else have bad luck with the cheaper crews around town?

Wait, you had to pay extra to get streaks fixed? That sounds like the first crew just didn't pre-wet the siding before applying chems, which is rookie stuff. I see it all the time with guys who buy a rig and watch a YouTube video then call themselves pros. The real problem is they use too much soap or let it dry on the surface, which leaves those zebra stripes. The cheaper crews usually skip the soft wash step or use the wrong nozzle, so the pressure is uneven. A proper detail means they go top to bottom, rinse everything thoroughly, and hit the gutters from the right angle so they don't just spray dirt into the soffits. Sounds like you got what you paid for with the first one, but that's still frustrating when you're already spending $250.

Hold up, you're telling me they charged extra just to fix their own mess? That's wild. I've had house wash crews mess up streaks before, but they always came back free of charge because they knew they botched the job. Charging you for their rookie mistake like pre-wetting and nozzle angles is something else. A legit company would own their screw up, not hand you another bill. Sounds like that second crew was just trying to squeeze more money out of you to cover for the first crew's cheap shortcut. Honestly never heard of that practice before, and I've lived through some sketchy home services.
