inThe joint spacing shortcut that backfired on my last project
honestly how bad could it have been though? it's a garden wall, not the louvre. most people walking by are looking at their phones anyway. seems like the kind of thing only you would ever notice after the fact.

Grocery bills for an average family can reach $800 a month now. Cutting back on food costs can free up cash for things like rent or utilities. That's why saving money on food is a serious deal for a lot of households.

inStopped a job to fix a drifting tool, no regrets
Seriously though, how bad was the drift actually? Sometimes a slightly rough finish on a machine guard doesn't matter at all for it to work. Was this a case of perfect getting in the way of good enough for the deadline?

inMy vacation turned into a lesson on cheap body filler after a fender bender abroad.
That line about "what else in my kit" hits home. I see it everywhere, stuff that works fine until the real world tests it. A sunscreen that's perfect at home but worthless in tropical sun, or a glue that holds until a damp garage ruins it. We buy things for our normal conditions and forget other places have their own rules. It's a small shock every time.
