inWarning: I was overmixing my sourdough starter for months until I tried just stirring with a chopstick.
Wait, you can overmix a starter? I always went hard with a whisk until my arm hurt. The chopstick thing is way easier and my starter seems happier.

inVent: A guy at the local star party said my camera was 'just collecting light, not seeing'
Tried that once and it changed my whole framing approach.

inWent to a friend's BBQ in Austin and their air fryer was just... sitting there, clean and unused on the counter.
Honestly this feels like a whole thing now. That air fryer is like the fancy blender someone got for smoothies that just holds fruit, or the bread machine that becomes a bread box. We buy these tools for a single idea of a better life, but the real work is making them part of the daily grind. The gadget ends up as a quiet monument to that gap between the plan and the practice.

inI was sure the 'cash envelope' thing was just for people who can't use a debit card...
Oh man, @reese997, you're so right about the envelope thing. I read this article a while back that called it the "pain of paying" and it's totally real with cash. Swiping a card is just a future problem, but you feel those twenties leave your hand right now. It makes you stop and ask if you really need that trip for snacks. My gas spending got way more real when I tried it too, it's crazy how much we don't notice.

inI just hit 100 sketches for my 'urban utility' collection and it's a mess
Grouping sketches by the actual problem they fix makes so much sense. It cuts through the noise of just listing features. That bike lock holster is a perfect example of solving the "stuff getting stolen" worry, not just adding a pocket.
