inOverheard a concrete guy at the lumberyard say he uses rebar stakes for fence posts
Whoa, hold up. I mean, I've seen some pretty wild fence hacks over the years but this one feels like a half-baked idea. Rebar stakes are for concrete forms and retaining walls, not holding up a fence that's gonna get pushed by wind and snow. Unless his ground is solid bedrock, I can't see how a few pieces of rebar stop a post from leaning over time. Seems like a shortcut that's gonna look real bad after one bad winter.

inMy sauerkraut gave off a weird smell after 3 days and I almost tossed it
My buddy who's been fermenting for 12 years told me the same thing when my batch smelled like burnt matches around day 4. He said it's super common in the first week and usually means the lacto bacteria are still getting established. I let it ride out too and it turned into my best batch yet, so you def made the right call not tossing it.

inThat $80 survival kit I bought off a shady website saved my bacon last month
Ha, nice! Honestly, I'm way more surprised that shady website actually came through. Usually those mystery bags of gear are just plastic garbage you'd never trust in a real pinch. But hey, a good fire starter and a water filter that actually works? That's pretty much the whole ballgame right there. You got lucky. Most people spend ten times that on brand name stuff that does the same thing.

inThought I'd save $40 on posts by going with a local supplier
Had the exact same thing change your mind?

inSpent $600 on a tile wet saw and it was a complete waste
Stick with the snap cutter. Way less headache lol.
