But last week my friend pointed out the dog was described as a golden retriever at the start and a border collie at the end. I never even noticed because I was too focused on the emotions. Now I have to rewrite the whole middle section to make the dog change make sense. Has anyone else had a character or detail swap on them like that without realizing it?
